"Artful Dodger" (Christ Church Parish Hall) - Magician John Dodge combines his humor and wit to provide an evening of laughter - with jokes, audience participation, magic and ventriloquism.

Baltimore Jazz Alliance (Academy Art Museum) - "Jazz for Kids" is an interactive program designed to give kids an up-close-and-personal look at jazz, the instruments and the musicians.

"Calico Jack" (Historical Society Auditorium) - Janie Meneely & Paul Diblasi (a.k.a. Calico Jack) and guests William Pint & Felicia Dale (Pint & Dale) present a swashbuckling musical adventure

Caricatures by Jim Rehak (Historical Society Auditorium) - One of the area's finest plein air artists creates complimentary caricatures

"Cascading Carlos" Mir, Juggler (on S. Harrison St. and in Waterfowl Festival building) - Returning by popular demand, Carlos perform and demonstrates amazing feats of juggling

Chesapeake Children's Theatre & Chesapeake Youth Chorale (Historical Society Auditorium) - New to First Night, these local, popular groups will present their acting and singing talents

Crab Drops (S. Harrison St.) - 9pm: "Midnight in the Mid-Atlantic"; 12am: Traditional Countdown. Join MC Tom Anovick, singer Ian Young, & Dragon Wings' Sea Creatures and welcome the New Year 2013.

Crafts for all ages with Jen Wagner (Waterfowl Festival building) - Create a wand, hat or sea creature

Dancing with DJ Kenninglark (Christ Church Parish Hall) - All ages welcome. Enjoy free-style dancing to popular music!

Short Films (Academy Art Museum) - Curt Heavey plays "soundtrack" for Buster Keaton's silent film, The Scarecrow, and director Cece Davis presents "Jolene filmed on the Eastern Shore and starring local actors.

Gospel Music (Christ Church Sanctuary) - Asbury Celebration Choir, Society for the Preservation of the African American Arts Singers, and Union Baptist Mass Choir ... Presenting the joyful sounds of local gospel singers.

Eric Henning (Stoltz Room at the Avalon) - With "Old-Fashioned Magic" - Victorian Conjuring - his wit and wizardry has delighted audiences from the streets of Paris to the White House

Mama Jama (Avalon Theatre) - Caribbean / African / Soca / Reggae / World Beat - the perfect musical blend to create a rousing, happy welcome to the New Year.

Mermaid Puppet "Sirena" (Waterfowl Festival building) - This awesome giant puppet, made by Dragon Wings' puppeteers has become a beloved tradition - she's magical!

Mid Shore Dance Academy (Avalon Theatre) - Students ages 8 to 18 perform a mixed repertoire of dance including modern, ballet, tap, and jazz

Monologue Competition (Stoltz Room at the Avalon) - Underground Actors are sponsoring this year's Monologue Competition for Cash Prizes! (Ages 14 & up; some adult themes/language)

Parades to Crab Drops (S. Harrison St.) - Join the happy Dragon Wings Sea Creatures & add excitement to the Countdowns to the Crab Drops.

Photo Booth (Waterfowl Festival building) - Complimentary photo with friends and family

"Tommy Buckets" Pisciotta - (S. Harrison St. & Waterfowl Festival building) - A perpetual percussionist who will delight all First Nighters.
